Lighting Operator – Gatsby Dubai
Overview
As a Lighting Operator for Gatsby Dubai, your primary responsibility is to manage and execute the lighting design and operations for the venue. You will work closely with the production team to ensure the lighting enhances the overall ambiance and guest experience, while maintaining the technical and artistic standards of the venue.Responsibilities
• Operate and control lighting systems during live performances and events.
• Collaborate with the production team to design and implement lighting schemes that enhance the visual appeal of the venue.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of lighting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Program lighting consoles to create dynamic and engaging lighting effects.
• Coordinate with event planners and performers to meet specific lighting requirements for different events.
• Monitor and adjust lighting during events to maintain the desired atmosphere and effect.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all lighting operations.
• Keep up to date with the latest lighting technologies and trends to continuously improve the venue’s lighting design.
Qualifications
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar position within the entertainment or hospitality industry.
• Proven experience in operating lighting consoles and systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of various lighting equipment and software.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with the UAE/GCC local market and industry standards is preferred.
