Overview

The Door Manager is responsible for overseeing the entrance operations of the establishment, ensuring a smooth and efficient guest experience. This role involves managing guest entry, coordinating with security, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise entry and exit points to ensure only authorized individuals are allowed access.
  • Verify identification and adherence to legal age restrictions for entry.
  • Enforce dress codes and venue-specific guest policies.
  • Oversee door staff, including bouncers and ticket takers.
  • Train new staff members on entry procedures, security protocols, and guest service standards.
  • Assign tasks and ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
  • Handle difficult situations, such as denying entry to intoxicated patrons or addressing confrontations.
  • Address guest inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Ensure VIP guests and regular patrons receive the highest level of service.

Qualifications

  • (1) years minimum experience in a similar role in four- or five-star hotel
  • UAE/GCC local market experience
