Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests. Each server’s primary objective is to show our guests such a marvelous time, they will want to return.Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements.
- Be able to operate the required steps on the POS – point of sales system in order to process food and beverage orders.
- Be able to deliver service by understanding the guest requirements.
- Carry out all tasks in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner.
- Explain to guests how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
- Inform guests of menu changes and daily specials and make recommendations.
- Serve food or beverages to guests and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required.
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions in a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality operation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in English, added languages such as French will be highly preferred.
- Excellent customer service and upselling skills
- Cooperative and self-giving team player
- Ability to work in highly fast-paced operation.
