Overview We are seeking an experienced Chef de Rang to join our Front of House team at Le Majlis, Palm Jumeirah.Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a warm, attentive, and personalized dining experience.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and confidently, with excellent knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and daily offerings.
- Provide professional recommendations on pastries, specialty coffee, desserts, and menu items.
- Build strong relationships with guests and ensure a welcoming and engaging dining experience.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, barista, and service teams to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Maintain high standards of table presentation, cleanliness, and service throughout the shift.
- Handle guest requests and concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Support the smooth operation of the assigned section and assist the wider team when required.
- Promote the values of restaurant hospitality, elegance, and cultural warmth.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Rang, Senior Waitress, or similar role in a reputable restaurant, café, or luxury hospitality environment.
- Fluent Arabic and English communication skills are essential.
- Female candidate preferred for this role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a polished, professional appearance.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service.
- A warm, confident, and guest-focused personality.
